Butler sophomore Ketarrious Bouchum and freshman Jalise Smallwood are the Butler Athletes of the Week, presented by the Marines.
Ketarrious Bouchum, Men’s Basketball
Ketarrious Bouchum scored 27 points in leading the Butler men to an 81-67 win at Seward County on the road on Wednesday. He also had six rebounds, an assist and a blocked shots. In a 91-82 loss at Barton, Bouchum had 14 points and five rebounds, along with two assists and two steals. For the week, he had 41 points with 11 rebounds.
Jalise Smallwood, Women’s Basketball
Jalise Smallwood had a career-high 20 points off the bench as Butler battled Barton in a 68-67 road loss on Saturday. At Seward on Wednesday, she added seven points and three rebounds with an assist. For the week, she had 27 points with seven rebounds with an assist and a steal.
