Butler Athletes of the Week, presented by the Marines - April 16, 2018

Butler sophomore Connor Hurst and sophomore Celina Sullivan are the Butler Athletes of the Week, presented by the Marines.

Connor Hurst, Baseball

Connor Hurst homered in two games, along with 8 RBI as Butler went 2-3 on the week. Hurst, a sophomore from Augusta, KS., hit .357 for Butler (5-14) and scored five runs. He also drew one walk and had a triple for Butler. He leads the conference and is ranked third nationally with 18 home runs on the season.

Celina Sullivan, Softball

Celina Sullivan threw her first complete-game no-hitter, beating Northwest Tech 8-0 on the road on Tuesday and did not allow an earned run in 14 innings of work, going 3-0 on the week. She continued to pile up strikeouts, punching out 25 batters, including 11 in five innings against Norwest Tech. Sullivan allowed just one hit in the 14 innings and two walks.
