Juwan White of men's basketball and Kyla Callins of women's basketball have been chosen as the Butler Athletes of the Week, presented by the Marines.

Juwan White, Men's Basketball

Juwan White, a freshman from Dacula, Ga., averaged 21.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in a pair of wins for the Butler men this week. He scored 22 points with perfect 13-13 free throw shooting in a road win at Pratt with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. He scored 21 points with six rebounds, two assists, a steal and another block in 39 minutes in a home win over Garden City.

Kyla Callins, Women's Basketball

Kyla Callins, a sophomore from Wichita South High School, helped the Grizzlies go 2-0 on the week with a pair of all-around efforts. In a road win at Pratt on Wednesday, she had 12 points with six rebounds and also had two steals, four assists and blocked a shot. On Saturday, in a home win over Garden City, she just missed a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds with two assists and two steals.
