Before Butler:  he played at Westmoore High School in Oklahoma City, Okla., under Coach Jarod Freeman. He played club baseball for Oklahoma City Sandlot as a catcher. He lettered in baseball four years. He also played in the Oklahoma All-State Game in July 2013.

Personal:  Cameron is the son of Wayne and Tammy Knight. He has an older sibling, Shelby. While attending Butler, he is majoring in management.
