Construction on the new BG Products Veterans Sports Complex continues to move along at a rapid pace, thanks to better-than-expected winter weather.

With temperatures in the 50s and 60s for the past several weeks, crews have been progressing well. A look at the stadium site now shows defined playing field and track oval, as well as the sloped area that will eventually be the location of the home seating area.

Construction is expected to be completed in the fall of 2012, or sooner if the good weather holds.

BG Products Veterans Sports Complex will be the new home of Butler football, soccer and track and field, as well as El Dorado High football and track and field and a host of community events.
