Butler football fans will have the opportunity to watch the Grizzlies play for the 2012 NJCAA National Championship at the new BG Products Veterans Sports Complex. The game will be streamed live on the video board, the largest scoreboard of any two-year college in the nation.
The gates will open at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2 for the community to watch their No. 2-ranked Butler Grizzlies play top-ranked Iowa Western in the Graphic Edge Bowl at the UNI-Dome on the campus of Northern Iowa University in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.
Admission is free and concessions will be available for sale at the South Gate. Fans can sit in the grandstands; there will be no field access.
Butler (11-0) will be appearing in their 10th national championship game and playing for their seventh title in program history. Butler won titles in 1981, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2008.
