Before Butler: he played at Raytown, in Raytown Mo., under Coach Brendon Wus.  He lettered all four years in basketball.

2012-13: played in all 32 games and averaged 8.7 points per game and added 18 blocks and steals on the season.

Personal: he is the son of Willetta Richardson and ReRick Thompson and has three siblings.  While at Butler he is majoring in Communications.
