Cameron Parker enters his fifth season as an assistant men's basketball coach. Prior to joining the Grizzlies, Parker worked for four years as a player development coach with local high school players in the Wichita, Kansas area.

In 2019, Parker helped lead the Grizzlies to a 2nd place KJCCC East finish at 15-5 along with a runner-up Region VI Tournament finish. The Grizzlies, 25-8, posted the best record since the 2015 season, when Parker was a player.

In 2014-15, Parker attended Butler and was a walk-on for the Grizzlies, led by current head coach Mike Bargen. The Grizzlies finished the year with a 29-4 record, opening the season with a 23-game winning streak and ranked as high as No. 4 in the NJCAA poll. Butler won the Jayhawk West Conference championship and reached the NJCAA National Tournament.

After Butler, Parker transferred to Wichita State University to pursue a Bachelors of General Studies degree.
