Larry runs 400m dash at Husker Invitational

LINCOLN, Neb. – Butler sophomore sprinter Alfred Larry competed in the men's 400-meter dash at the Husker Invitational held at the University of Nebraska this past weekend.

Larry, who has qualified for the NJCAA national meet in three events (400-meter dash, 600-meter dash and 4x400-meter relay), finished 22nd out of 45 competitors with a time of 49.26 seconds. Running against mostly NCAA competition, Larry was the second fastest junior college runner in the event.

Next up for Butler will be the Scottie Challenge, held at Highland Community College this Saturday. It will be the last meet before the Region VI Indoor Championships.
