Former NJCAA All-American Josh Phillips begins his first year on the Butler track and field coaching staff.

A 2012 outdoor NJCAA All-American in the pole vault, Phillips was also a two-time Region VI and Jayhawk Conference champion while at Cowley Community College. Phillips still holds both the Tigers' indoor (16' 2 3/4") and outdoor (16' 6") pole vault records.
