Before Butler: Attended Odessa High School, coached by Kerry Shaw. Earned letters in softball all four years and three letters in basketball. Led team to a district championship in 2013 Class 3A, named first team all-region, first and second team all-conference and first and second team all-district for three years. Played for Mac and Seitz, coached by former Kansas City Royal Mike MacFarlane.

Personal: Born March 18^th, 1997 in Kansas City, Mo. Daughter of Harold Bass and Christa Simpson. Has an older brother, Brandon, and a younger brother, Malachi. Major is accounting.
