Fourteen Softball Players named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes, Butler finishes 2nd overall

Fourteen Butler softball players were named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes Wednesday afternoon announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

As a team, Butler finished 2nd overall in the two-year school category finishing with a team GPA of 3.650 with College of the Sequoias coming in first with a 3.760 GPA. The Grizzlies finished 24th out of 420 teams when combining all collegiate levels (NCAA 1, 2, 3, NAIA, Two-Year).

To be named an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete, one must earn a 3.5 grade-point average or higher during the 2018-2019 academic year.
