With 13 NJCAA Tournament appearances over the past 16 seasons - including back-to-back national titles in 2016 and 2017, Butler softball has established itself as one of the top NJCAA Division I progams in the nation!Over the years, Butler Sootball has established a strong winning tradition. The Grizzlies have been ranked in the NJCAA Top 20 for 69 consecutive weeks, and 24 total times ranked inside the Top 5. They have been ranked No. 1 four times, 2013, 2014, 2017 & 2018, and got all the way to No. 2 in the NJCAA during the 2021 season. The Grizzlies set a softball record (all divisions) with an 88-game winning streak during the 2016-2017 seasons. That is the longest winning streak set by any softball program in the history of the sport. During the 2021 season, the Grizzlies had a 46-game win streak that came to an end at the National Tournament. Butler has won 11 of the last 12 KJCCC Championships and seven-straight Region VI and Plains District titles.
