LA JUNTA, Co.  – The Butler women concluded the non-region part of the schedule on Tuesday with a 91-43 win over Otero Junior College. The Grizzlies improved to 10-1 on the season.

This marked the fourth consecutive outing for the Grizzlies in which they have surpassed the 90-point mark and the fifth time this season as well as the fourth straight win for Butler.

Butler jumped out early to a 25-13 first quarter lead and then outscored the Rattlers 25-8 in the second frame to take the 50-21 lead into halftime.

Leading the Grizzlies in scoring Tamara Lee with 18 points who connected on five of her six three-point field goal attempts.  Janee Arnold, Kyeria Hannah and Cassie Pauls led Butler on the glass collecting seven rebounds apiece in the win.

Butler next plays at Seward to begin the Region VI portion of the schedule beginning on Monday Nov. 30. Tip time is 6 p.m.
