Langley named NJCAA Goalkeeper of the Week

Butler freshman goalkeeper Kelsi Langley was named the NJCAA Goalkeeper of the Week for the matches beginning Aug. 22 through Sept. 1.

In four games, Langley had a 3-1 record with a 0.98 goals against average. Playing all 325 minutes in goal, the Newton, Kan., freshman stopped 23 of 27 shots (.852 save percentage).
Langley also recorded her first two collegiate shutouts against Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa and Kansas City Kansas. Langley also made 10 saves in a thrilling 2-1 overtime victory over #3 Iowa Western in the Aug. 23 season opener.
