Freshman forward Ky Kreemer ended the first-half scoring with 57 seconds before the break with a goal from 10 yards out to give Butler a 4-0 halftime lead.

Just as she did in the first half, Allan scored Butler's first two goals in the second half. She registered her second hat trick of the year in the 57th minute, scoring just inside the right post from the left side.

In the 65th minute, Allan added her fourth goal of the day when Clark failed to handle a pass in the box by Howland.

Following Allan's fourth goal, Butler added two quick goals from Hartman and Clark. Hartman followed up a Caro Limon shot that slammed off the left post in the 68th minute, then Clark scored two minutes later with a shot from 15 yards out that went just under the crossbar.

Butler goalkeepers Jami Reichenberger and Elena Garcia combined on the shutout, as both keepers played one half each. Garcia was the only keeper tested, as she made two saves in the second half.
