Butler rolled to a 10-0 lead in the first set and did not look back, winning the first two sets by identical 25-11 scores. The third set was closer, but the Grizzlies were never seriously threatened in a 25-20 final set.

Rachel Phillips led Butler with nine aces, while Amy Dodge hit .833 with three blocks and Rachael West hit .800. As a team, Butler hit .417 in the first set and .609 in the second set.

Butler is now 4-1 on the season and 1-0 in Jayhawk Conference play. The Grizzlies are off this weekend before playing at Highland next Wednesday.
