Butler volleyball won its 30th match of the season defeating Hesston 25-22, 25-11, 25-14. It is the second consecutive year the Grizzlies have reached 30 wins and the third time in coach Rick Younger's 11 seasons at Butler.
The Grizzlies hit .250 on the evening with Jessi Green and McKenzie Johnson leading the way with eight kills each. Kailan Kuzmic and Lexie Wartick had six kills each. Kailan also had 17 assists, 12 digs and two blocks. Kailee Dudley had four kills and four blocks. Mary Kangas also added 15 assists with three aces. It was a good way to close out conference play according Younger.
The Grizzlies have added a match on Nov. 5 at KCKCC with a 6:30 p.m. start. KCKCC beat Butler at home in a five set thriller two weeks ago.
