On Monday, Butler went on the road to take on Highland and got the win but it took all five sets to get it done. The Grizzlies dropped the first set 21-25 and followed that up by winning their next two sets 25-12 and 25-16 before losing a close fourth set 29-31. Butler then took the final set 15-12 for the win.

Payton White led the offensive attack for the Grizzlies with 17 kills, while Kailee Dudley added 16 kills of her own. The defense was led by Jessica Schwartz with 22 digs and Jessi Green had 30 digs to go along with her 13 kills.

Butler won its second five set match of the season to move to 29-7 overall and 6-3 in conference play with their next match coming up on the road against Hesston on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m.
