After a week that saw the Grizzlies extend their conference regular season winning streak to 24 games, sophomore setter Rainey Aven has been named KJCCC Setter of the Week.
Rainey Aven, the sophomore setter from Hereford, TX, was solid yet again for the Grizzlies as they picked up two conference wins this past week defeating Garden City at home Wednesday night and Barton on the road Saturday evening.
Aven averaged 11.8 assists per set totaling 81 on the week. She put down six balls finishing with six kills and had five service aces on the week, all five against the Broncbusters. She finished with six blocks and 22 digs as well.
This is the second time Aven has received this award winning it back in Week 3 of the season.
