Kennedy Kelly named KJCCC Player of the Week

After a week that saw the Grizzlies go 2-0, Butler sophomore Kennedy Kelly has been named the Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week.

Kennedy Kelly, sophomore middle blocker, helped Butler to two more KJCCC wins at home extending the Grizzlies home win streak to 22-games. Kelly was stellar and accurate again as she hit .555 on the week totaling 18 kills in her six sets played. Not only was she deadly at the net in the attack game, but Kelly served seven aces on the week, five in the match against Dodge City. Kelly has now bumped her season hitting percentage over .400 as she still leads the nation in that category hitting .402 this season.

This is the second time this season Kelly has been named Offensive Player of the Week and now the sixth time a Grizzly has won the honor.
