Justin Stolberg is in his first season on the Grizzly coaching staff and oversees the quarterbacks.

Stolberg returns to Butler after playing for the Grizzlies in 2018 and 2019. Most recently Stolberg was an assistant coach at Mississippi State and had a brief stint at Missouri Western before coming back to El Dorado.

A native of New Orleans, LA, Stolberg started his college career at Louisiana Tech after graduating from Fontainebleau High School. He redshirted his freshman season and then made the jump to Butler in 2018 where he played two years for the Grizzlies. After Butler, Stolberg transferred to Mississippi State where he finished his football and academic career. He has a Bachelor of Science Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State.

Stolberg is the son of April Taylor and Bernard Stolberg and has four younger siblings Zach, Ella, Cooper and Cecelia. He resides in El Dorado.

Why Butler:

“I came to Butler at 19 years old as a kid and grew up so much while I was here. I went through some tough things that prepared me not only for football at Mississippi State but life after football. I am excited to offer these kids the same guidance I was given as a player here.”
