Two Butler Grizzlies softball players were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association West All Region teams which were announced on Tuesday afternoon. Freshman pitcher Emma Koeneke received first team honors while third year sophomore Madi Young was named to the second team.

For the second year in a row, Young was one of the top hitters in the country again this season. Her .564 batting average was third in the country, and her on base percentage of .646 was good for second.
