The No. 9-ranked Butler soccer team (5-3-1, 3-0) posted their third straight shutout with a dominating 10-0 win over the Neosho Panthers Wednesday on the road in Chanute.
"We were just playing our game," said Adam Hunter. "We have a lot of weapons on this team on both sides of the ball and they really got after it."
It was a slower first half as Butler carried just a 2-0 lead into the break with first half goals from Kim McAlpine and Laryn Murray.
The Grizzlies then turned on the jets scoring eight goals in the final 45 minuets of the match. Laryn Murray finished the night with a hat trick scoring three goals, the first hat trick for a Grizzly this season.
Butler finished the night with 33 total shots, 26 of which were on goal. Neosho managed just two shots in the match, none of which were on goal.
