Butler Soccer slides back to No. 6 in this week’s National Poll

The Butler soccer team moved up a spot to No. 6 in this week's NJCAA Div. I Women's Soccer National Poll announced the national office Monday afternoon.

Hunter's team picked up a 5-1 win over Garden City most recently and are now 9-2-1 this season. The Grizzlies will stay at home this week with contests scheduled against the Panthers of Neosho on Wednesday and cap off the week with a home match against No. 17-ranked Hutchinson at 6:00pm in El Dorado.

Butler is one of four KJCCC teams ranked in this week's Top-20 National Poll. Butler sits the highest at No. 6 while Barton checks in at No. 12 this week. Hutchinson moved into the poll to No. 17 this week with w big overtime win over Coffeyville and Coffeyville dropped five spots to No. 20 with the overtime conference loss.

This marks the 17th straight poll the Grizzlies have been ranked dating back to the 2020-21 spring season. This is the third time this season they have been in the No. 6 spot.
