Top-11 remain unchanged and Butler Soccer holds strong at No. 6

No movement at the top as the Top-11 teams in the NJCAA Div. I Women's soccer poll remains unchanged for the second straight week.

Butler, who had a 2-0 week with wins over Kansas City Kansas and Johnson County, stay put at No. 6 in this week's NJCAA National Poll.

This marks the fourth week in a row the Grizzlies have held the No. 6 spot. 

Butler played arguably one of their toughest non-conference schedules in program history with five of the six teams they played in non-conference being ranked inside the Top-20. The Grizzlies two losses have come to No. 3 Seminole State falling 3-2 and No. 5 Hill College 1-0.

There are three KJCCC teams ranked this week in the National Poll with Butler being the highest ranked KJCCC team at No. 6. No. 15 Hutchinson jumped Barton after winning head-to-head last week as the Cougars dropped five spots to No. 17.

The Grizzlies have a tough slate this week as they travel to Coffeyville on Wednesday. The Red Ravens and Grizzlies tied 1-1 earlier this season and it is the only blemish on the Grizzlies KJCCC record. Butler will then host the talented Cougars of Barton on Saturday at home at 11:00am.
