Duncan named KJCCC Offensive Player of the Week

After a stellar week leading the Grizzlies to a couple more wins, Kayli Duncan was named Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Duncan, a 6-1 sophomore middle blocker from Wichita, KS, continued her consistent and dominant play as she helped Butler extend their winning streak to 15-straight matches with wins over Cloud and No. 10-ranked Seward this past week. Duncan hit .586 on the week totaling 21 kills in her eight sets played. She had eight kills and no errors on the road Wednesday with seven blocks and followed that up with a 13-kill, six block performance against the highly ranked Saints of Seward on Saturday in the Grizzlies five-set win. Duncan is hitting .315 on the season and .500 in KJCCC matches. Duncan hit above her average in kills per set this week finishing at 2.63 kills per set.

This marks the sixth time a Butler player has earned conference honors this season and the first for Kayli Duncan.
