Butler improves to 2-0 in Jayhawk action with straight set victory on the road at Pratt

The Butler Grizzlies continued their unbeaten start to their conference season on Wednesday, defeating the Pratt Beavers in straight sets (25-14, 25-17, 25-14).

Two players dominated offensively for the Grizzlies, as Kennedy Kelly earned a career high 12 kills in the victory while Ivy Fink added 10 kills of her own, including seven in the first set. The Grizzlies combined for 45 kills on 96 attacks. Rainey Aven contributed with her usual array of passes, finishing with 38 of Butler's 41 assists in the victory. 

The Grizzlies improve to 3-4 on the season, extending their winning streak in conference play to 19 straight victories. Butler heads to McCook, Nebraska for a four game tournament in the McCook Invitational, starting with two games on Friday against McCook and Eastern Wyoming.
