Ivy Fink named Jayhawk Conference Defensive Player of the Week

After a week that saw the Grizzlies knock off a couple ranked opponents, Butler sophomore Ivy Fink has been named the Jayhawk Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Fink, 5'9 sophomore outside hitter from Hoyt, KS, was big for the Grizzlies this week as they picked up a couple of wins over ranked teams and finished last week 3-3. Fink was strong on both sides of the ball as she recorded 88 digs on the week in her 22 sets played. Fink recorded a career high 29 digs in the match against Jefferson.
