Grizzlies Collect Two Shutout Victories at Pratt

Butler pitching proved itself to be strong in their two shut out victories on the road over the Pratt Beavers.

Game One

The Butler Grizzlies defeated the Pratt Beavers 2-0 in game one at Pratt.Butler's starting pitcher, Izack Tiger, pitched a complete game shutout, allowing only four hits and one walk while striking out ten batters.

Butler's offense was led by Justin Hudson, who drove in one run with a double, and Brock Kuehler, who also drove in a run. Alan Benhardt and Hudson each had a double, accounting for both of Butler's hits.

Game Two

The Grizzlies took down the Beavers 4-0 in a game two. Butler's starting pitcher, Caden Kickhaefer, was dominant, pitching a complete-game shutout while allowing only five hits and two walks while striking out nine batters. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies' offense was led by Brock Lummus and Anibal Rivera, who each had two hits, and Garrett Fager, who had a triple and an RBI.

The win improved Butler's record to 35-19 overall and 20-10 in conference play, as the Grizzlies prepare for the last two games of the series with the Beavers, rounding out the regular season.
