Due to COVID-19 Social Distancing guidelines, head coach Teri Rinkenbaugh has made the decision to transition all Spirit Squad tryouts for the upcoming 2020-21 school year to a video format.

"We are asking prospective team members to submit a video for consideration," said Rinkenbaugh. "COVID-19 can't stop our Butler spirit. The Grizzly Spirit Squad was made for times like these. When times get tough, we are there to cheer our Grizzlies on to victory. Today, we will cheer louder than ever. We will support each other and we will win! As you prepare for tryouts, bring your Grizzly pride and give it all you've got. We will be together soon and stronger than ever! BUCO - YOU KNOW!"

Prior to submitting a tryout video, prospects must complete the tryout application located on HERE.  Once that is completed and received, the video requirements will be emailed to the prospective student.

All videos must be received by April 23, 2020.  Prospects can email their videos to trinkenbaug1@butlercc.edu.  A Facetime, Zoom, or phone interview may be conducted as well.

A mascot position is also available.  If anyone has interest in that position, please complete the tryout application stating it is for the mascot position.

The Grizzly Cheer Team is looking forward to getting back out and in front of the Butler fans this coming fall sports season.
