After another great performance in the circle last week, Butler Softball's Allyson Montgomery has been named the Jayhawk Conference Pitcher of the Week. 

Allyson Montgomery, the Grizzlies sophomore pitcher from Goddard, Kansas had an amazing week of action in the circle for the Butler Softball team in their four run-rule conference victories. Montgomery made two starts for the Grizzlies both complete-game shut-outs for the Butler ace. Allyson pitched ten innings giving up only six hits walking five batters while striking out eighteen. Montgomery's best game was against Northwest Kansas Tech on Butler Softball sophomore day in which she walked no batters and struck out ten. Montgomery still leads the KJCCC in strikeouts with 211 this season. She is also tied for first in the KJCCC in wins this season with 21 and is second in ERA at 2.08 through 138 innings pitched. 

This is the third time this season Montgomery has earned pitcher of the week title.
