Butler Volleyball falls to Missouri State-West Plains in Blue Dragon Classic

The Butler volleyball team (7-5, 2-3) fell in three sets Saturday morning in their lone game of the Blue Dragon Classic 25-15, 25-9, 25-17.

It has been hard to find any rhythm over the last two weeks as the Grizzlies have had four matches postponed and one cancelled.

In the match on Saturday, Butler had a .216 hitting percentage. Sydney Morrow posted a team high eight kills and had eight digs in the match. Jaryn Benning finished with seven kills and nine digs with four blocks. Lara Sosa had 15 assists.

Game two of the Blue Dragon Classic was canceled due to health and safety protocols within the Jefferson College program.

NEXT UP: Butler will host Pratt on Thursday, February 25 at 6:30pm in the Power Plant in El Dorado, KS. They will make-up their game at Dodge City the following day at 6:30pm in Dodge City.
