Milosevic named KJCCC Setter of the Week for 2nd straight week

COLBY, Kan. – After an impressive five match showing last week, freshman setter Anja Milosevic was named the KJCCC Setter of the Week by league officials on Tuesday morning.

Milosevic (Belgrade, Serbia) won the award for a second straight week as she was named setter of the week previously on Sept. 19.

Milosevic helped Butler to a 2-2 weekend at the Blue Dragon Classic, facilitating the Grizzly attack throughout the entire weekend while also digging up opposing attacks. She posted a double-double vs. 17th ranked Indian Hills with 34 assists and 14 digs. She posted a weekend-high 35 assists and seven digs in a 3-0 sweep of Spartanburg Methodist. All in all, Milosevic had 29+ assists in each match.

The week for Milosevic started on Wednesday as Butler hosted Barton. In that conference match, Milosevic barely missed a double-double with 14 assists and eight digs.

Milosevic and the Grizzlies play in Liberal at Seward County on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 6:30 p.m.
