Athlete of the Week - Presented by the Marines - Oct. 7, 2018

US Marines Athletes of the Week are Juwan Mitchell of the football team and Paige Achey of the women's soccer team.

Butler’s Juwan Mitchell and Paige Achey are the Grizzly Athletes of the Week, presented by the Marines.

Juwan Mitchell, Football

Juwan Mitchell led Butler’s defense with 10 tackles, including 2.5 tackles for losses of 34 yards. He also broke up a pass and had three quarterback hurries. He was named the Jayhawk Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Paige Achey, Women's Soccer

Paige Achey helped the Grizzlies to a 5-0 home victory over the Cowley Tigers, moving the Grizzlies to 10-3-0 (7-0-0). Achey’s hat-trick was her second of the season, after scoring four vs Neosho County in September. Achey now has eight goals and, a team leading, eight assists on the season.
