Before Butler:  he played at Hammon High School, in Lexdreg, Okla., under Coach Johnny Corff. He is a transfer from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He was a Western Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association All-Star. He played club baseball for Team Realtree as a left handed pitcher, under Coach Brian Shadrelford.  He lettered in basketball and baseball four years.

Personal:  Carson is the son of Johnny and Darla Corff. He has an older brother, Colton, and a younger brother, Cade. His father played baseball for Redlands Community College in 1981 and 1982. His brother, Colton, also played at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2011.
