Dyer Earns KJCCC Player of the Week Honors

After a great performance at the plate last week, Butler Baseball's Hayden Dyer has been named the Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week in week fourteen.

Hayden Dyer, the Grizzlies sophomore middle infielder form Gardner, Kansas had an impressive game at the plate in their 19-2 victory over the Pratt Beavers at home on Saturday. Dyer kicked the day off with a solo-homer off the first pitch of the game, and he would later drive the Grizzlies to a nine run lead with a grand slam. Dyer ended the game three for three, with six rbi's, two homers, and four runs. Dyer's average on the week was .428 going six for fourteen with seven runs, eight RBIs, three homeruns, and two doubles. Dyer leads the Butler Baseball team in hitting average at .379 on the season as well as RBIs with 56. 

Dyer is the second Grizzly to earn KJCCC player of the week honors this season, the first beign Izack Tiger as pitcher of the week in week twelve.
