Before Butler:  Jayde played at Perry High School, in Perry, Okla., under Coach Bryan Hayes. She played for the club team, the Tulsa Elite Gold, under Coach Jeff Filali. In her high school career, she posted 60 wins and 26 losses, a 1.038 ERA, 866 strikeouts, 38 shutouts, 11 no-hitters and five perfect games. She was the 2009 All-Conference Pitcher, recipient of the 2009 and 2010 ESPY Award—Defensive, 2009 Rookie of the Year and the 2011 and 2012 NOSB—Conference MVP. She also received the 2012 Guts and Glory Award, 2012 Stillwater News Press All Player of the Year, 2012 VYPE Magazine All-Vype Fall Team member and broke 17 career records at Perry High School in 2012.
