Before Butler: Aujanae played at Northwest Magnet High School, in Wichita, Kan., under coaches Christie Ramsey and Lucretia Lowe. She played for the club team, Wichita Havock, under coaches Tim and Ginger Callison. Her batting average is .428, 42 runs batted in, 44 stolen bases and a .645 slugging percentage. She was all-city honorable mention once, all-city second team once, all-city first team once, and MVP three years.
