The Butler softball team will once again play a challenging fall schedule that includes some of the nation's best NCAA Division I programs.

The highlight of the schedule will be a scrimmage on Oct. 24 against defending NCAA Division I national champion Oklahoma. That contest will start at 6 p.m. at Marita Hynes Field in Norman.

Butler will also face another Big 12 opponent when the Grizzlies travel to Lawrence to face Kansas on Sept. 29 where the Grizzlies will also face Missouri-Kansas City. Two SEC teams are on the schedule with trips to Arkansas on Oct. 2 and a trip to Missouri on Oct. 4 with Butler will face the Tigers at 4 p.m. and Crowder College at 6  p.m.

Butler will start the fall schedule on Sept. 15 at Creighton and will play Oct. 11 at Tulsa. Other scrimmages on the fall schedule include Team Kansas on Sept. 22 and the Kansas Renegades on Oct. 27. Both of those scrimmages will be held at the Butler field at East Park.
