Butler falls in straight sets to KCKCC

The Butler volleyball team fell behind early to KCKCC and couldn't seem to gain any momentum to overcome the Kansas City Kansas Blue Devils dropping three straight sets (25 -17, 25-22, and 25-20).

Payton White and Kailan Kuzmic led the Grizzlies with White having ten kills and Kuzmic also having ten kills, 12 assists, and 11 digs to go along with the teams only service ace. Defensively Jessica Schwartz had a team high 15 digs, Jessi Green added ten and Mary Kangas recorded 11 digs and 18 assists.

The Grizzlies next play Neosho County on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. in Ark City, KS in the first round of Region VI tournament action.
