Chloe Odle and Cooper Rasmussen

Butler softball pitcher Chloe Odle and baseball infielder Cooper Rasmussen have been selected as the White Eagle Credit Union Athletes of the Week for the week of March 24th through March 30th, 2025.

Chloe Odle (Softball)

Odle, a sophomore pitcher from Beloit, Kan., helped the Grizzlies to a 2-0 record in her two starts on the week. In a win over Labette on Monday she tossed 5.1 innings allowing just two runs while striking out three. In a run rule win over Pratt on Wednesday she tossed a complete game 6.0 inning shutout allowing just one hit and striking out nine. On the season Odle holds a 2.62 ERA and a 7-2 record.

Cooper Rasmussen (Baseball)

Rasmussen, a redshirt freshman third baseman from Temecula, Calif., helped Butler to a series split with the No. 23 ranked Barton Cougars last week. Rasmussen finished the week vs. the Cougars hitting .500 (8-16), driving in seven runs, scoring six runs and adding two home runs and a double. He slugged .938 and held an on-base percentage of .529 in the four game set. In Butler's game one win, Rasmussen finished 2-3 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored. He followed that up in game two with a 3-6 performance at the plate driving in four runs, hitting another home run.
