Butler Athletics Sees 8 Programs, 72 Student-Athletes Earn Academic Recognition from the NJCAA
The NJCAA office released its All-Academic teams Thursday morning and 72 Grizzly student-athletes earned honors while eight of Butler’s 11 programs earned the NJCAA Academic team award.
Former Grizzly Vanja Przulj Signs Contract with Finnish Pro Team
From Butler Community College, to a four-year university, to the professional ranks. That is that path of former Grizzly volleyball outside hitter Vanja Przulj, who just recently signed a professional contract to play for Hämeenlinnan Lentopallokerho Ry, a professional volleyball club located in Hämeenlinna, Finland.

GREAT BEND, Kan. – Fourth seed Butler volleyball started off strong in the Region VI championship match at the Barton Gym on Sunday afternoon, but three seed Colby came away with the win and the region crown as the Grizzlies fell 3-1 (25-22, 17-25, 16-25, 25-27).

GREAT BEND, Kan. – Fourth seed Butler volleyball took down top seeded Barton at their home gym on Saturday evening 3-1 (25-22, 18-25, 25-20, 25-21), moving on to the Region VI championship match on Sunday.
