Grizzlies Cap Successful Fall Semester in Classroom
EL DORADO, Kan. – Not only has the competition on the court/field wrapped up during the 2024 fall semester, but in the classroom as well as student-athletes have completed their finals and received grades for the semester.
EL DORADO, Kan. – Not only has the competition on the court/field wrapped up for the 2024 fall semester at Butler Community College, but in the classroom as well as student-athletes have completed their finals and received grades for the semester.
As an athletics department the Grizzlies boasted a grade point average of 3.16 across all 11 programs. The 3.16 department average GPA is the highest for the Grizzlies in over three seasons during the fall semester.
The Butler softball squad finished with the highest GPA in the department with a 3.55. In total, nine of 11 programs finished with a 3.0 or higher across the 2024 fall semester. Softball as well as women's track and field/cross country all boasted GPA's of 3.5 or higher.
Individually, 40 student-athletes finished with 4.0 GPA's while 46 earned between a 3.5 and 3.99. Butler baseball led the way with 12 student-athletes earning 4.0's.
