Amanda Maiden enters her ninth year as Butler's head athletic trainer ahead of the 2024-25 season.

In total, Maiden has spent 17 years on staff at Butler. She was previously the Grizzlies' assistant athletic trainer for six seasons before being promoted in the summer of 2016.

Prior to Butler, Maiden worked three years at Mid-America Orthopedics. From 2006 to 2008, she was the Grizzlies' assistant athletic trainer before returning to that role again in 2011.

Maiden is a 2006 graduate of Oklahoma State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in sports medicine. Before OSU, Maiden was a student athletic trainer at Butler from 2001 to 2003.

Maiden resides in Andover with her husband, Andrew, and three children, Keeleigh, Jackson and Harleigh.
