Bio

Garrett Hanks is in his first year working for Butler Athletics in 2025.

In his role, Hanks assists the Butler athletic administrative staff, mainly working on compliance and game operations.

Prior to working in the athletics department, Hanks worked with BCTV where he produced all live streams for Butler athletic events from 2022-2024.

Hanks also spent time working for the Wichita Wind Surge, the Double-A Affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, running camera and operating the instant replay for the in-house video board and for MiLB TV.

An El Dorado, Kansas, native, Hanks received his bachelor’s degree in sport management from Wichita State University in 2024 as well as receiving his associate’s degree in business administration and accounting from Butler Community College in 2022. He is currently working on getting his master’s degree in sport management at Wichita State.
