The 2024-25 season marks Michaela Serrioz's fourth year on staff at Butler.

Serrioz was hired in 2021 as athletics secretary and was promoted to associate athletic director in 2023.

She oversees eligibility and compliance, manages the facilites schedule/calendar, the day-to-day operations of the Butler Athletic Department along with assisting staff and coaches to better support their needs. She also assists in the management of the Butler Athletic social media outlets creating content and delivering strategic messaging to the over 11K followers.

Prior to Butler, Serrioz spent time at Highland Community College as an assistant volleyball coach as well as the athletic director's assistant. Michaela brings a wide variety of knowledge of the Jayhawk conference after playing volleyball two years as a student athlete at Highland Community College and now having worked as an administrator for over four years. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Ottawa University in 2019 where she also finished out her playing career in volleyball. Michaela recently graduated with her masters in Sports Administration from Pittsburg State University in 2022. She is a native of Gardner, Kan., and currently resides in Wichita.
