In the Grizzlies (7-1, 1-1) conference opening doubleheader, they fell 7-6 in nine innings in game one and won 10-2 in six innings in game two.
Butler led 6-2 entering the bottom of the seventh inning in game one but Hutchinson rallied for four seventh inning runs tying the game 6-6. The teams then went to extra innings with a scoreless eighth before the Blue Dragons got a two out RBI single from Addison Lutz to secure the win 7-6 in the ninth inning.
