Late Goal From No. 8 Hill Forces a Tie With No. 6 Butler
EL DORADO, Kan. – No. 6 ranked Butler soccer was two minutes and thirty seconds away from a top-10 ranked win over No. 8 Hill College, but the Rebels scored late and forced a 2-2 tie at BG Products Veterans Sports Complex Wednesday evening.

EL DORADO, Kan. – No. 6 ranked Butler soccer was two minutes and thirty seconds away from a top-10 ranked win over No. 8 Hill College, but the Rebels scored late and forced a 2-2 tie at BG Products Veterans Sports Complex Wednesday evening.
The Grizzlies (7-0-3) are still undefeated but it was their third tie of the season. Hill moves to 6-0-2.
Butler led 1-0 at halftime but Hill outscored them 2-1 in the second half to make it 2-2. Hill's Tiny Seaton scored both goals for the Rebels, getting them on the board in the 54th minute and again in the 87th minute.
Butler saw a pair of freshmen in Merari Flores and Tyesha Nelson score their second goals of the season in the game. The Grizzlies outshot the Rebels 19-5.

Sophomore Rylie Schiffelbein spent all 90 minutes in goal. She allowed the two goals and did not record a save. Hill's Latae Rodriguez finished with six saves and the two goals allowed.
The second round of conference play begins on Sunday when the Grizzlies host Coffeyville at 7 p.m. in El Dorado.
