Ingram Picks Up Jayhawk Player of the Week Nod

COLBY, Kan. – Butler soccer freshman forward London Ingram was named the Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday, the league announced.

Ingram, an El Dorado, Ark., native, earns her third KJCCC weekly honor of the season.

Last week, Ingram continued to propel the Butler attack with an emphatic performance against No. 11 ranked Cowley. Ingram netted the Grizzlies' first hat-trick of the season against the Tigers on Saturday night at BG Products Veteran's Sports Complex in El Dorado, helping Butler to a 4-0 home victory.

Ingram is second in the KJCCC with 13 goals in league play. Ingram has proven to be as consistent as any attacker in the league, scoring in nine of Butler's 13 conference games.

Butler returns to action on Wednesday evening when they take on the Garden City Broncbusters in Garden City.

Butler Grizzlies are supported by LASIK Omaha eye doctors and eye surgeons.
